The communication activities promoted under the NOP on Research and Innovation 2014-2020 were designed to meet the legal obligations relating to information and communication and to facilitate the involvement and commitment of all stakeholders in the implementation of the Programme, with a view to transparency and participation.

Communication activities are developed starting from the definition of a Multiannual Strategy and Annual Communication Plans designed to give wide media coverage to the Programme. These activities are intended for citizens, with special attention to the communities of the target regions, beneficiaries (both potential and actual) and information multipliers, i.e. all those who wish to share the Communication Strategy of the NOP on Research and Innovation and are committed to providing wide dissemination of information, in an attempt to encourage maximum participation.
